there are monsters here; is a series of poems about being trans, compassion, mental and physical illness, love, hate, and trauma. it is the most personal work that i have ever written, describing growing up queer and coming to terms with the girl i was before coming out, our trauma, and the roles we both had in the person i am today.
this anthology was created for TRANS FUCKING RAGE JAM, a jam hosted by @stargazersasha. this is me allowing myself to be angry and create for a person i tried to lose for so many years of my life, because i thought that was what being trans had to mean. these poems are me finally being able to be the person i needed growing up.

there is a more in-depth and per poem content warning list and general note on the tone of the poem/context for the warnings, however, some general warnings are below.
this has very adult themes and topics; be 18+ to interact with my work.
above all, i hope this means as much to you as it does to me. find yourself in this work; look for the person you used to be - there or not. let yourself grieve. be safe, friends, and be kind to yourselves.

Right off the bat I love your care towards the readers, the individual content warnings, and the tones.
The collection is beautiful and detailed and a microcosm of the pain and the overcoming and the road between that. I love it and I love your rage. Grieving oneself is always difficult, especially when you're trans- it's entangled and messy and these poems help sort through that.
And fuck that guy. I don't know if its a "spoiler" or not so i'll be vague but fuck him!!! I hope he rots!!!
